Welcome to the AICU website.

The Associazione Italiana Carlo Urbani is a non-profit organization founded in July 2003 with the aim to continue the extraordinary humanitarian work of Carlo Urbani, a Doctor Without Borders who died of SARS, a disease that he himself had first identified. The current president of AICU is Mauro Ragaini.
